13 III — Body & Nervous System

Allowing Recovery

What it is

Many people have forgotten how to rest without guilt.

Even moments of pause are often filled with stimulation, productivity, scrolling, planning, or self-pressure.

But the nervous system requires periods of recovery in order to remain clear, emotionally balanced, and responsive.

Recovery is not laziness. It is biological necessity.

The practice

Today, allow yourself a short period without performance.

No optimizing. No self-improvement. No need to achieve anything.

Sit quietly. Walk slowly. Rest without turning the moment into another task.

Notice:

What feelings appear when you stop?

Is rest comfortable or uncomfortable?

What happens when nothing is required from you for a few moments?

Sometimes recovery begins when permission appears.
