What it is
Many decisions are made from urgency, fear, external pressure, emotional activation, or automatic habit.
Coherent decision-making means allowing awareness, nervous system state, values, perception, and reality to participate together before action is taken.
Not every fast decision is wrong. But many important decisions become clearer when reaction slows down.
The practice
The next time you face a meaningful decision, pause briefly before acting.
Ask:
Is this decision coming from clarity or pressure?
Does my nervous system feel regulated enough to perceive clearly?
What happens if I allow a little more space before deciding?
Notice whether the answer changes when your internal state changes.
Sometimes coherence appears gradually rather than instantly.
